　　游戏中陷入麻烦的Riverspring河边小镇以及统治家族的Sarwyck城堡。游戏的两大主角之一Alester Sarwyck在经历15年的自我流放后回到家乡时，面临权力真空和内战的难题。此时小镇正在哀悼他父亲老Sarwyck领主的去世，迫使Alester考虑自己在Riverspring的统治地位并恢复这里的秩序。
